📦 2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide our services:
- Garage name, owner name, and mobile number (used for Firebase authentication)
- Customer and party details (name, mobile number, address)
- Vehicle details (registration number, brand, model)
- Job card and service history records
- Billing, invoicing, and payment records
- Product and inventory information
- Income and expense records
- Staff attendance and salary records
- Device token (FCM) for push notifications
📞 3. Phone Contacts Access
When adding a new customer (party), the app may ask for permission to access your phone's contact list. This permission is used solely to:
- Let you pick a contact and auto-fill the customer's name and mobile number
We do not store, upload, or transmit your phone contacts to our servers or any third party. Only the selected contact's name and number are saved as a normal customer record in your account. You can deny this permission and add party details manually — the app will continue to work normally.

The information we collect is used exclusively for:
- Managing garage operations, job cards, and daily workflow
- Verifying your identity via Firebase Phone Authentication (OTP)
- Generating professional GST invoices, bills, and PDF reports
- Tracking vehicle service history

- Sending push notifications for important business events
- Providing customer support
🗄️ 5. Data Storage & Sync
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure:
- Cloud Firestore: All business data (parties, jobs, bills, inventory) is stored in Google Cloud Firestore associated with your account
- Real-time sync: Data syncs automatically across all your devices
- Offline support: The app works offline and syncs when the internet is available
- Firebase Security Rules: Only authenticated users can access their own data — no cross-account access is possible
🔑 6. Google & Firebase Services
Our app uses the following Google / Firebase services:
- Firebase Phone Authentication: Your mobile number is used to generate and verify a One-Time Password (OTP) via SMS for secure sign-in. This is processed on Google's secure servers as per the Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Cloud Firestore: Used to store and sync all your garage business data securely in the cloud.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used to send push notifications for business events (new jobs, payment reminders, etc.).
- Firebase Storage: Used to store uploaded files such as invoice PDFs and images.
We do not use Google services to track or profile users for advertising purposes.

We take data security seriously and implement the following measures:
- Firebase Security Rules — only your account can access your data
- Firebase Authentication — secure token-based access
- HTTPS encrypted data transmission for all network calls
- No plain-text passwords — authentication is handled by Firebase
- Role-based access control for staff permissions within your garage

Your garage data, customer information, and business records are strictly confidential and are only accessible by authorized users of your garage account.

🗑️ 10. Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
How to delete your account:
- Send an email to parshwasoftware@gmail.com with subject: "Account Deletion Request — Garage Pro 360"
- Include your registered mobile number and garage name
- We will delete your account and all data within 7 working days
After deletion, all data associated with your Firebase account will be permanently removed from Google Cloud Firestore.
